A delightful childhood memory of mine is chocolate chip pancakes at IHOP. We recently discovered that Emily had somehow gotten through her 7 years and never had this experience... so she and I had a special date!

How fun! Chocolate chip pancakes at IHOP (Emily's a lucky girl). And how fun that Jessie is going to Spain. I hope you are enjoying the inaugural festivities!
I am so glad she got to IHOP before her childhood passed. You can do the same thing at home-but the magic isn't quite the same. Something about publicly being indulged really rings bells.
